GST conducted multiple FAA prime and subcontracts over 15+ yrs., supporting the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City, NJ, and FAA Headquarters in Washington, DC. These efforts included test and evaluation of air traffic management systems, automation systems, communication subsystems and displays. In recognition of the company’s performance, GST received written commendations from FAA leads and the Air Force OT&E Center’s (AFOTEC) Major General.

During this period, GST personnel performed subsystem and system-level testing, conducted demos, dry runs, regression tests and formal test procedures at labs and at sites. They also developed test scenarios, executed airspace simulations, conducted operational testing and post-test data reduction/analysis. GST monitored test execution of other contractors, represented the FAA at project-level status meetings, and planned and executed Human Factors test procedures.

Systems Engineering, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Configuration Management (CM) tasks included design, development, validation and certification of software data reduction tools. GST verified hardware and software requirements traceability, participated in technical reviews and CM boards, prepared Computer Based Instruction (CBI) and Operational System training for field staff, and reviewed plans and procedures submitted by other contractors. GST personnel also represented the FAA’s interests at Critical Design Reviews (CDRs) and Deployment Readiness Reviews (DRRs).
