GST was founded by Achintya Bhattacharjee and started out supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in testing of air traffic control systems. In 1993 GST joined the FAA Aviation Security R&D Program and was one of the original contractors at the opening of the Aviation Security R&D Laboratory in the WJ Hughes Technical Center at the Atlantic City International Airport.
Since the formation of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS), GST has provided continuous support in roles ranging from test & evaluation to development of specifications, acquisition, and deployment of new Explosive Detection Systems. Aviation/ transportation safety and security have always been our core focus.
GST has also provided information technology support and systems engineering to the US Navy, Army, and Air Force in roles ranging database design to logistics scheduling and design/build of workstations for the C-5 aircraft and digital recording systems used on aircraft carriers.
GST currently has its headquarters in Yardley, PA and offices in Absecon, NJ and Arlington, VA.
